"I had an amazing time at the 1st annual "Color Crockett" plein air painting event in Bells, TN. I participated with around a dozen other incredibly talented artists. We each had 3 hours to live-paint any scene we chose within the Bells city limits. I was EXTREMELY honored to receive the "Best Local Artist/Artwork Award."
The piece that I created was literally a patch of farmland that we found while searching the area---the large single tree in the field called to me immediately. The land-owner's son actually drove by while I was painting, we chatted, and he was extremely excited that I chose his family's beautiful field as the subject."
