"This is a piece that's about appreciating nostalgia. Nostalgia is a very powerful thing. A sound, taste, photo, etc. can literally trigger your brain into re-experiencing long-gone moments. When I was creating this piece, I was taken back to my family's farm/land in Cedar Grove, TN. It was a pleasure recalling those family members and fun times---many of which are no longer with us. So, I hope this piece reminds the viewer to seek out and appreciate the beauty of nostalgia."
