"Martin Luther King Jr. is a hero. He fought for what's right while facing mortal adversity. That seems like a cliche', but it's the best way to describe his courage. He fought for people who were openly hated, abused, and refused basic human rights only because their skin color happened to be different than those with historical ruling and governing power. He didn't demand that these people be given anything, only that they be given equal opportunity. He ultimately gave his life for a cause that should be an obvious basic right for every single human."
