"This piece was inspired by Author James Cherry's novel titled "Edge of the Wind." It's a story about a young African American adult that suffers from schizophrenia and becomes enraptured with creating poetry. His action of sharing his poetry with a local college class doesn't go nearly as well as he hopes and crisis ensues."
